Do I need an internet connection to perform a safety check?
No. A-Composite Safety is built with an "Offline-First" architecture specifically for remote worksites and dead zones. If you lose cellular or WiFi service, the app will safely store your completed inspections, photographic evidence, and digital signatures directly on your device. When you regain a connection, simply go to your History tab and tap the prompt to sync your records to the company cloud.
What is the difference between the Single and the Family/Tradie/Fleet Edition?
The Personal Edition is completely free and allows a single operator to pin 1 piece of equipment to their phone. All reports and photos are saved locally to your device's memory.
The Family/Tradie/Fleet Edition is a paid business tier that unlocks Company Cloud Sync, multi-driver equipment rosters, the Admin Web Dashboard, and unlimited vehicle pinning based on your plan size.
I'm an Admin. How do drivers join my safety database?
Once your company account is activated, go to your Settings tab to find your unique 6-digit Join Code. Give this code to your workforce. They simply download the app, tap "Staff Login / Join Fleet", and enter the code to instantly connect to your master safety database.
What happens if a piece of equipment is retired or sold?
If an Admin removes a vehicle from the company's master roster, our Cloud Reconciliation system immediately takes action. The next time your drivers open the app or refresh their screen, that retired equipment is automatically wiped from their phones. This guarantees drivers cannot accidentally perform safety checks on machinery you no longer own.
Will I lose my personal vehicle data if I join a company fleet?
Absolutely not. The app uses a secure "Dynamic Drawer" memory system. Your personal vehicles and offline reports are kept safely locked in your personal memory bank. When you log into a company fleet, that drawer slides shut and the company database opens. When you clock out or log out, your personal vehicle is restored exactly as you left it.
How does billing and invoicing work?
Fleet plans are B2B (Business-to-Business). Admins can use the setup calculator in the Settings tab to choose a tier and the number of vehicles required. Once you submit the request, a secure Stripe Invoice is emailed to you. Your cloud features and fleet sharing will unlock the exact moment the invoice is successfully paid.
Do you charge "Per User" or "Per Vehicle"?
We charge strictly Per Vehicle, not per user. Most corporate software charges a license fee for every employee, but we know the transport and trade industries rely on shift work and pool vehicles.
This means you can invite your entire workforce to download the app and join your company database for free. Whether you have 5 drivers sharing 2 delivery vans, or 50 operators rotating through 10 excavators, you only pay for the assets sitting in your yard.
How do I view compliance reports or share them with supervisors?
For Operators: Open the History tab and tap the PDF icon next to any completed safety check to generate a formatted compliance document. This PDF will include your digital signature, failure notes, and attached photos. You can email or text it directly from your phone.
For Admins: Tap the "Web Dashboard Portal" link in your Settings to log in securely from your desktop computer. You can audit a live feed of your entire workforce, filter by specific machinery, and bulk-download PDFs for compliance reporting in seconds.
